The Judge Rotenberg Educational Center presently has a number of positions available and are actively seeking employees to benefit from the opportunity of working with us. We serve several youths and developmentally delayed adults in the capacity of behavior modification. So, looking for a challenging and exciting position in the Human Services Field? We are seeking individuals to fill our direct care positions which also have some supervisory roles. These are entry-level positions, responsible for a variety of duties relating to and primarily concerned with implementing the students’ treatment and educational programs. These direct care individuals provide the basic staff coverage necessary for the maintenance of the school, residential, and workshop programs. These positions affords a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience with and knowledge of the current methods for treating the problems of autistic-like adolescents and young adults and young adults with behavioral disorders. These positions report to the Teachers, Weekend Supervisors, Residential Supervisors, Workshop Coordinator and Monitoring/QC staff. These are hourly non-exempt positions. Hours of work are assigned on a weekly basis and can be comprised of any day or shift necessary to assure adequate staffing, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Educational/Work History Requirements:
- High School diploma, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in human services/education preferred but not required.
- Stamina and physical endurance for a physically demanding schedule.
- Candidates should possess excellent problem solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to function with moderate supervision.
