Learn what goes on in an interview, including the preparation required before an interview, the various types of interviews, and why these types are used. Topics include interview etiquette, proper responses to basic interview questions, and strategies for “end of the interview” will also be discussed. Using interactive interview exercises, you will practice responses to a variety of scenarios.
After completing this workshop you will be able to:
- Assess and employ basic interviewing etiquette: dressing appropriately for an interview, being punctual, successfully answering standard interview questions
- Define the different types of interviews: behavioral, group, phone, stress, etc.
- Convey interest by asking appropriate questions of the interviewer
- Develop end of interview strategies to close the deal
