Please join us at this virtual information session to learn about the Healthcare Environmental Services Worker Training Program with BEST Hospitality Training. The next class starts on November 1st. Hospitals are interested in hiring our graduates right away.
The goal of the Healthcare Environmental Services Worker Training Program is to help you get your career started in hospital housekeeping at a premier Boston area hospital. The program is a four-week, online class. The class meets Monday – Friday, 10 AM –1 PM online via Zoom. The curriculum includes an overview of the Environmental Services Worker position and terminology, OSHA guidelines including chemical safety, blood-borne pathogens, etc., HIPPA, ergonomics, cross-cultural communication skills, customer service, professionalism, preventing workplace harassment, computer skills, resume writing, interview skills and much more. You will earn a certification in housekeeping safety from OSHAcademy. Upon completion, you will work with us on your job search.
Training Requirements:
-Authorized to work in the United States.
-Able to communicate well in English.
-Available to attend an online class that meets M-F, 10 AM-1 PM for four weeks.
-Able to work a rotating schedule.
-Willing to work weekends and holidays.
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 4 hours.
-Able to pass an employer background check and drug test.
-Are vaccinated or willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination if required by the employer.
