Members of the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) Workforce Development Council visited Boston earlier this month as part of the USCM annual meeting. During their visit, Council members toured JVS CareerSolution, one of the two one-stop career centers in the City of Boston, and learned about several city-led workforce programs, including: City Academy, BostonHires, and the Summer Youth Employment Program. The visit was an excellent opportunity for workforce leaders from 18 U.S. cities to exchange ideas about workforce development and learn from one another.
