The Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development is launching the Boston Employer Forum Series of virtual panel discussions to share information on hiring needs in local industries during COVID-19. Each panel will feature sector-specific labor market data presented by Dr. Alicia Sasser Modestino, an economist at Northeastern University, as well as on-the-ground insights from industry hiring managers.
The goal of these panels, which are free and open to the public, is to help colleges and job training programs better prepare Boston residents for the COVID-era workforce.
The panels cover the following industries:
- Healthcare
- Hospitality
- Construction
- Retail
- IT/Tech
